Our one-time appointment.

I gathered together on Zoom this morning as I do every week with about two dozen faithful and mature believers and seekers. Today it was my quarterly turn to share the message. We each try to “stimulate one another to faith and good works” and, after prayer and meditation, I chose to talk about eschatology, ideology, and final judgment. How’s that for a focused topic?

My inspiration has been two-fold: (1) the reading and preparation I’ve been doing for the next book in our Celebrate Salvation discipleship series, entitled Kingdom, and (2) reading the daily news. The premise? “It is appointed to a man to die once, and then the judgment.” Our choice is either God’s eternal Kingdom or, by default, the devil’s fate. How much depends on what we believe and are committed to? Please join me in prayer that we will each hear and heed our Savior’s call! PS: The Zoom format has proven to be an excellent venue for Celebrate Salvation groups. If you’re interested, have any questions, or would like some support in getting a group going in your neighborhood or church, please feel free to contact me!
